Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land, Subject to Mining Rights, for Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 in Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 25th day of July 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 31 July 1986, at page 3189, acquiring land, subject to mining rights, for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 by inserting after “Lot 4, D.P. 16055 and being portion of Allotment 343, Parish of Taupiri,” in the description of land thirdly listed in the Schedule thereto, the words “Excepting all coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever under the said land.”
