Town and Country Planning Act 1977

Defence Work Exempted from Planning Requirements

Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 176 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, that the Minister of Defence considers the construction and operation of a Defence Satellite Communications Station on the land described in the Schedule hereto to be necessary for reasons of national security, and has authorised the undertaking of all work necessary for that purpose and the operation of the station, notwithstanding that the said work or operation may contravene any provision of the said Act or of a regional, district or maritime scheme.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 27.7 hectares, more or less, being part of Deposited Plan 1194 and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 36, folio 64, Marlborough Registry and more particularly Lot 3, delineated and edged red on plan 1467 held by The Ministry of Defence at Wellington

All the parcel of land containing 8.9 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 7050 in certificate of title, Volume 4B, folio 1364, Marlborough Registry.

Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block I, Lyndon Survey District, Amuri County

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting Deputy Director-General of Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by The Amuri County Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

1,5000 hectares, more or less, being all that parcel of road situated in Block I, Lyndon Survey District, shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 16591.

Maori Affairs Act 1953

Declaring Maori Freehold Land to be Excluded from a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be excluded from the Maori Reservation known as Part Waima No. 1C, No. 1A, No. 3A, No. 3, dated the 24th day of August 1972, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 70, page 1826.
