Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962 as amended by the Transport Amendment Act No 2, 1983, the Wellington District Transport District Licensing Authority (W. O’Brien), gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will hold a public sitting to receive evidence or representations, whether submitted in writing or presented in person for or against the granting of them in the Conference Room, Second Floor, Pearse House, corner Willis and Ghuznee Streets, Wellington, commencing on Wednesday, 16 March 1988 at 10 a.m.

The above review will be held in the Conference Room, Second Floor, Pearse House, Wellington, commencing Wednesday, 16th March 1988 at 9.30 a.m.

The purpose of the review is to ascertain whether the services are adequate to meet the reasonable public demand, and whether or not the services are being carried on in an efficient manner; and whether or not the grant of additional licences would materially affect the economic stability of other holders of Taxicab Service Licences.
