Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in the Auckland Acclimatisation District 1987

Season: Paradise Shelduck

The Minister of Conservation hereby gives notice that the notice published in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37 of 25 March 1987, at page 1303, relating to the game that may be hunted or killed and the duration of the 1987 season is amended as follows.

In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Auckland Acclimatisation District:

Game that may be hunted or killed

Paradise Shelduck (Otorohanga, 12 March to 27 March 1988 incl.
Waitomo, Taupo and Taumarunui Counties only)

Duration of 1987 Season

Daily Bag Limit:

Paradise Shelduck, 5.

Special Conditions:

  1. All persons prior to hunting under the provisions of this amending notice shall notify the Auckland Acclimatisation Society of their intention and obtain a hunting diary from the Acclimatisation Society and record therein the hunting or killing of any paradise shelduck. The diary is to be carried while hunting and shall be returned to the society before 15 April 1988.

Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 5) 1988

Pursuant to section 143 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 5) 1988.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 29th day of February 1988.

  1. Exchange rates—Where under any provisions of the Customs Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an amount in New Zealand currency, the amount to be so taken into account shall be the equivalent in New Zealand currency of that amount ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. Revocation—The Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 4) 1988, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 19, dated the 4th day of February 1988, on page 373 is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Wanganui Harbour Foreshore Control Order 1987.

(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 27th day of September 1987.

  1. Interpretation—In this order—

“The Act” means the Harbours Act 1950;
