with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
Order

Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Rotorua Branch Order 1988.

Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Rotorua Branch, an organisation approved* under its former name of the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society, (Incorporated), Rotorua Branch by the Minister of Employment under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 13 Tī Street, Rotorua from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Tāmaki Branch Order 1988.

Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Tāmaki Branch, an organisation approved* by the Minister of Employment under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 17 Rylock Place, Pakuranga from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

Cancellation of Appointment and Appointment of a Member and a Deputy Member of the Marine Council
Pursuant to section 15A of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952 (as amended by section 7 of the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Act 1987), I, William Patrick Jeffries, Minister of Transport, hereby:

Cancel the appointments of Lesley Mary Harwood as a member and Garry Douglas Harris as a deputy member of the Marine Council.

Appoint David Eyton McPherson as a member of the Marine Council to represent owners of New Zealand ships and Kenneth Norman Plowman as a deputy member.
