Sale of Liquor Act 1962
Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 7 December 1987 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Butlers Reef Country Inn, Okato.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the whole year while daylight saving is not in force, other than on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the whole year while daylight saving is in force, other than on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the whole year while daylight saving is in force, other than on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(e) On any Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(f) On any New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 12.00 midnight.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Title — This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Lower Hutt Branch Order 1988.

Exemption — The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Lower Hutt Branch, an organisation approved by the Minister of Employment under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at corner Daysh and High Streets, Lower Hutt from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2), (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.
