as Deputy-Chairman of the New Zealand Planning Council for a period of 2 years commencing from the 1st day of January 1988.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Receipt of an Application for an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Bilmans Management Ltd. (trading as Ansett New Zealand) has applied for an International Air Service Licence to permit the licensee to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and Nadi, Fiji. Further details of the proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 18 March 1988.

Traffic Regulations 1976

Traffic Signs—Regulatory Notice

Pursuant to regulation 129 (6) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the Minister of Transport authorises the erection and maintenance of signs in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Description of Traffic Signs

In this Schedule:

  1. All measurements are shown in millimetres.

  2. The letter "(r)" after a colour indicates that the colour should either be made of retro-reflective material or be internally or externally illuminated so as to be clearly visible to approaching drivers.

  3. The size of lettering and numerals is shown by two figures separated by a diagonal slash. The first figure shows the letter height in millimetres and the second the stroke width in millimetres.

  4. The dimensions of signs are minima, and may be larger with dimensions increased approximately in proportion.
