Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in the City of Invercargill

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for river control purposes and shall vest in The Southland Catchment Board on the 8th day of December 1988.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described firstly in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Southland County Council on the 8th day of December 1988 and pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill, declares the land described secondly and thirdly in the Schedule hereto to be road, which shall vest in The Southland County Council.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in the Borough of Cromwell

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Dunedin, hereby amends the notice dated the 4th day of December 1984, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 December 1984, No. 232, page 5669, declaring land acquired for the generation of electricity in the Borough of Cromwell by deleting the description in the area first described in the Schedule, and substituting the description “Part Section 46, Block XXVIIA and Lot E, D.P. 1075, being part Section 1, Block XXVII, Town of Cromwell. Part certificate of title, Volume 289, folio 249”.
