South Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts—Waikirikiri Rural Fire District
All those areas in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata, Waipa, Tauranga and Opotiki Counties and Rotorua and Whakatane Districts, and described generally as follows:
“First”:
All that area including the forest known as Mamaku Forest and contained within a boundary commencing at the southern point of the area, the middle of the intersection of Oturoa Road and SH5, then proceeding generally westerly along the middle of SH5 to opposite the eastern boundary of Section 49, Block IV Patetere North-East Survey District thence northerly to and along that boundary to the northernmost corner of the said Section 49, thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundary of that part of State Forest 3 leased by N.Z.F.P. Forests Limited, to the southernmost corner of Paengaroha Part No. 1 Block in Block IX, Patetere North-East Survey District, thence generally northerly along the generally western boundaries of that block and Lot 1 DPS 26254 to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 1, thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Paengaroha No. 2 Block, and Wahiti Kuranui 5A to the northeastern corner of Pt 5D2 Block III Tapapa East SD, thence clockwise, generally southerly, northwesterly, then northeasterly around the boundaries of this Section to its intersection with the southwest boundary of Pt 1, DPS 3716, Block VI Oporiti SD, then northwesterly along this boundary to the right bank of the Heretaunga Stream (near the southernmost corner of part Lot 2, DPS 3716 in Block VI, Oporithi Survey District), thence northerly along that bank and the right bank of the Kaimukumu Stream to the south-western boundary of part Lot 2, DP 28320, thence south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Lot 2 and part Lot 1, DP 29669 and their production to the centre line of Soldiers Road, thence north-easterly along that centre line to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 7, Block V, Otawainuku Survey District, thence south-easterly to and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 7 and 9, Block V aforesaid, and their production to the right bank of the Opuaiki River thence generally north-easterly along that bank to its junction with the left bank of the Mangapapa River, thence generally southerly along that bank to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Allotment 344, Te Papa Parish, in Block V, Otawainuku Survey District, thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and its production to the centre line of McLaren Falls Road, thence generally southerly along that centre line to its junction with the centre lines of Omanawa Road, thence generally north-easterly along the centre lines of Omanawa Road and Omanawa Falls Road and the south-eastern boundary of part Allotment 579, Te Papa Parish, to the left bank of the Omanawa River, thence generally southerly along that bank to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 586, Te Papa Parish, thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and its production to the centre line of Taumata Road, thence generally south-easterly along the centre lines of Taumata Road and Pyes Pa Road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 24, Block XV, Otawainuku Survey District, thence north-easterly to and along that boundary to the easternmost corner of the said Section 24, thence by a right line due south to the centre line of Mangato Road, thence generally easterly along that centre line to a point in line with the western boundary of part Section 8, Block XVI, Otawainuku Survey District, thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the right bank of the Te Rerenga Stream, thence generally easterly along that bank to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 14, Block XVI, Otawainuku Survey District, thence southerly to and along that boundary to and by a right line across Whataroa Road, to and again southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 14 and its production to and thence along the western boundary of Section 16, Block XVI, Otawainuku Survey District, and its production to the centre line of Te Matai Road, thence north-easterly along that centre line to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District, thence south-easterly to and along that boundary and as generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Section 8 aforesaid and part Section 7, Block XIII, Maketu Survey District, thence south-easterly along that boundary and its production to the right bank of the Mangorewa River, thence generally westerly along that bank to the right bank of the Pipikarithi Stream (being the north-western boundary of part Section 2, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District), thence generally south-westerly along the bank to the eastern boundary of Section 42, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District, thence generally northerly and westerly along the generally eastern and northern boundaries of the said Section 42 and the last mentioned boundary produced to the centre line of the Tauranga Direct Road, thence generally southerly along the centre lines of the Tauranga Direct Road, Lagoon Road and Roy Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 9, Block III, Rotorua Survey District, thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Mangorewa Kaharoa 6E3 No. 1A Block, thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of that block to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, DPS 12297, thence south-easterly, southerly and westerly along the north-eastern, eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 1 to, and westerly along, the northern boundaries of parts Section 9, Block VII, Rotorua Survey District to the western boundary of the (western) part Section 9, thence southerly along that boundary to the northern boundary of Lot 2, DP 24742, thence westerly along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Section 7A, Block XI Rotorua Survey District and Lot 1, DPS 18745 to the eastern boundary of Section 8A, Block X, Rotorua Survey District, thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the centre line of Oturoa Road thence generally westerly along the centre lines of Oturoa Road to the centre line of SH5, the point of commencement.
“Second”:
All that area, starting at the southeastern corner of Lot 2 DPS 33047, Ohauni Settlement, Block VIII, Otawainuku SD thence clockwise around this lot to the intersection with the Road Reserve opposite the southern boundary of Lot 1 DPS 33047 thence a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 1 then clockwise around lot 1 and the product of this line to the centre of the Road Reserve then generally northerly along the Road Reserve to the intersection with the centreline of McPhail Road then generally easterly and south-easterly along the centreline of the road to opposite the southernmost point of Allotment 27S thence to and generally easterly along the boundary between Allotment 27S and Allotment 29S and thence generally southerly along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 293, and Lot 2 DPS 33047 to the commencement point at the southeastern corner of Lot 2 DPS 33047 Block VIII Otawainuku SD.
“Third”:
Welcome Bay Forest
All that land containing the forest known as Welcome Bay Forest, contained within a boundary commencing on Waitao Road, its intersect with the southern boundary of Lot 1, DPS 27531 Block XV Tauranga SD, proceeding westerly along this boundary, and the north boundary of Lot 2, Block IV Otawainuku SD to its northwest corner, then a right line to the northeast corner of Lot 1, DPS 10345 Block IV Otawainuku SD, then along the northeast boundary of this Lot to the middle of the Waitao Stream, down the middle of the Waitao Stream, to the southern point of Ngapaki 5D Block XV Tauranga SD, then to, and generally northerly along the
