Kaingaroa Rural Fire District Order 1948, Amendment No. 10

Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Kaingaroa Rural Fire District Order 1948, Amendment No. 10, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Kaingaroa Rural Fire District Order made on the 30th day of June 1948 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule to this order.

South Auckland Land District—Kaingaroa Rural Fire District

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Rotorua District, Whakatane District and Taupo County, containing 231437 hectares, more or less bounded by a line commencing at Trig Pukehou 9556 situated in NZMS 261 V18 Sheet 2.1 and proceeding westerly along a right line to Trig 95514 Paengahataranara; thence northwesterly along a right line to Trig 95513 Okurapoto; thence southwesterly along a right line to Trig Te Pokapoka No. 2, thence southwesterly along a right line to the northwesternmost corner of the former Heruiwi 3 Block (ML 3544) situated in NZMS 261, V18 Sheet 2.1, thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Heruiwi 3 Block aforesaid to the westernmost corner of Heruiwi 4F1 Block, thence southeasterly along the southwestern boundary of the aforesaid Block for bearings and distances of 110° 16' 00" 562.26 metres, 115° 34' 37" 1199.30 metres and 121° 01' 09" 1602.40 metres; thence southerly along a right line to Trig Pukeora B, thence southwesterly along a right line to Trig 10451; thence westerly along a right line to the northeasternmost corner of Section 1, Block II Runanga SD, thence westerly along a right line to Trig 10445; thence northwesterly along a right line to the southeasternmost corner of Lot 14 DP 21390, situated in NZMS 261, V18 Sheet 1.2; thence westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 3 Block XIV Heruiwi SD, thence southerly along a right line to Trig 10443, thence southerly along a right line to Trig 57 Opureke No. 2, thence southerly along a right line to Trig 2 No. 2, thence southerly along a right line to Trig No. 3, thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Runanga 2C2A Block to the northeastern side of State Highway No. 5, thence northwesterly along the northeastern side of that road to the southern boundary of Section 5, Block IX Runanga SD, thence northwesterly along the southwestern boundary of Section 5 aforesaid to and along the northwestern boundary of Section 4 Block IX Runanga SD to the southern side of State Highway No. 5, thence northwesterly along the southwestern side of that road to the western boundary of Pt Wharetoto 9 Roadway, situated in NZMS 261, U18 Sheet 7.4, thence southerly along the western boundary of the aforesaid Roadway to the northeastern boundary of Pt Wharetoto 8 Block, thence southwesterly along a right line to the southeasternmost corner of Lot 1 DPS 13705 situated in NZMS 261, U 19 Sheet 5.1, thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Lot 1 DPS 13705 and Lot 2 DPS 11135 to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1, DPS 46769, thence southerly to and along the western boundaries of Lot 1 DPS 46769 and Part Lot 1 DPS 20352 to the northeasternmost corner of Kaimanawa No. 1E Block, thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Kaimanawa 1E Block and Section 1, Block XII Waitahuanui Survey District to the northeastern boundary of Lot 1 DPS 18179 situated in NZMS 261, U18 Sheet 4.1 thence northwesterly along the northeastern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 1 to its westernmost point and that boundary produced to the middle of the Te Arero Stream, thence northwesterly along the middle of that stream to the confluence of the Waitahanui River, thence northwesterly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Tauhara Middle 4A1K2 Block, thence easterly to and along the southern boundary of that Block to its southeasternmost corner, thence northerly along the western boundary of Part Run 90 to the southern boundary of Part Tauhara Middle No. 4 Block, shown on ML Plan 20729, thence easterly along the southern boundary of that Block to and along the northern boundary of Part Run 90 to and along the southern boundary of Section 9 Block XII Tauhara Survey District to and generally northeasterly along the generally northwestern boundaries of Part Run 90, crossing the intervening State Highway No. 5, to the northeasternmost corner of that Block, thence northeasterly along the northeasternmost boundaries of Pt Run 60 and Pt Run 59 to the southeastern corner of Lot 2 DP 30838 situated in NZMS 261, U17 Sheet 7.4, thence northwesterly along the southwestern boundary of Lot 2 and its production to the middle of Broadlands Road, thence generally northerly along the middle of Broadlands Road, East Road, Strathmore Road, Rangitaiki Road and Forest Road, to its intersection with the middle of Longview Road, thence southerly along the middle of Longview Road to its intersection with the middle of Campbell Road, thence northwesterly along the middle of Campbell Road to its intersection with the middle of State Highway No. 5, thence northerly along the middle of State Highway No. 5 to and easterly along the middle of State Highway No. 38 to its intersection with the middle of Northern Boundary Road, thence easterly along the middle of Northern Boundary Road to the end of that road, thence southeasterly along the end of Northern Boundary Road to the boundary of Pt Run 54 situated in NZMS 261, V16 Sheet 4.4, being the boundary of former State Forest by Gazette 1931 p. 3412; thence generally northerly along the generally western boundary of Pt Run 54 aforesaid to the southern boundary of Section 1 Block XVI Ruawahia SD, thence northwesterly along the southwestern boundary of the aforesaid Section 1
