Milk Delivery Standards

Districts Order 1968—New Zealand Gazette, 22 August 1968, P1403 et seq.

(a) Frequency of delivery of milk to domestic consumers:

(i) Christchurch metropolitan area, Kaiapoi and Rolleston:
7 days per week.

(ii) Rangiora, Lyttelton, Leeston, Amberley, Hanmer Springs, Culverden, Hawarden, Waikari and Darfield:
Minimum of 6 days per week.

(iii) Oxford, Dunsandel, Akaroa, Governor’s Bay and Diamond Harbour:
Minimum of 3 days per week, no 2 of which are to be consecutive.

(b) Times at which milk is to be delivered to domestic consumers:

(i) Oxford, Akaroa, Governor’s Bay, Diamond Harbour, Leeston, Culverden, Hawarden, Waikari and Darfield:
Commencing at 3 a.m.

(ii) Other places:
Commencing at 3 p.m.

(c) Point of delivery to domestic consumers:
Delivery to domestic consumers is not hereby required to be made at a point further than 1 metre from the boundary of private property with a public road or street.

This notice shall come into force on the expiration of 10 working days after its publication in the Gazette.

Minimum Standards—Otago Home Delivery District

In terms of section 16 of the Milk Act 1988, the New Zealand Milk Authority hereby determines the following minimum standards in relation to the delivery of milk by and on behalf of the processors for the Otago home delivery district. (The Otago home delivery district covers the same area as the Otago milk district in terms of the Milk Districts Order 1968—New Zealand Gazette, 22 August 1968, P1403 et seq.)

(a) Frequency of delivery of milk to domestic consumers:

(i) Dunedin, St. Kilda, Port Chalmers, Green Island, Mosgiel, Alexandra and Kaikouta:
7 days per week.

(ii) Queenstown, Cromwell and Milton, Balclutha, Fairfield, Waldronville and Brighton, Clyde:
Minimum of 6 days per week.

(iii) Ranfurly and Roxburgh, Lawrence and Tapanui, Omakau, Wanaka, Wairrngton, Clinton, Oamaru, Frankton and Waikouaiti, Waipori, Outram:
Minimum of 3 days per week, no 2 of which are to be consecutive.

(iv) Waitati and Middlemarch:
Minimum of 2 days per week, which are not to be consecutive.

(b) Times at which milk is to be delivered to domestic consumers:

Commencing at 3 p.m.

Commencing at 6 a.m.
Commencing at 2 p.m.
Commencing at 3 p.m.

Commencing at 6 a.m.

Commencing at 2 p.m.
Commencing at 4 p.m.
Commencing at 6 a.m.

Commencing at 5 a.m.
Commencing at 6 a.m.

Commencing at 7 a.m.
Commencing at 5 p.m.

(c) Point of delivery to domestic consumers:
Delivery to domestic consumers is not hereby required to be made at a point further than 1 metre from the boundary of private property with a public road or street.

(b) Times at which milk is to be delivered to domestic consumers:

(i) Oamaru:
Commencing at 3.30 p.m.

(ii) Other places:
Commencing at 2 a.m.

(c) Point of delivery to domestic consumers:
Delivery to domestic consumers is not hereby required to be made at a point further than 1 metre from the boundary of private property with a public road or street.

This notice shall come into force on the expiration of 10 working days after its publication in the Gazette.

(vi) Heriot
Tarras
Minimum of 2 days per week, which are not to be consecutive.

(vii) Moa Flat area
Minimum of 1 day per week.

(b) Times at which milk is to be delivered to domestic consumers:

Commencing at 9 a.m.
Commencing at 9 a.m.
Commencing at 6 a.m.
Commencing at 9 a.m.
Commencing at 3 p.m.

Commencing at 4 p.m.
Commencing at 5 p.m.
Commencing at 6 p.m.

Commencing at 7 a.m.
Commencing at 8 a.m.

Commencing at 7 a.m.
