Hamilton District Law Society
Law Practitioners Act 1982
In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, and in the matter of an alteration to the boundaries pursuant to section 20 between the Auckland District Law Society and the Hamilton District Law Society, notice is given that at a special general meeting of members of the Auckland District Law Society held on Thursday, 20 October 1988 at Auckland it was resolved that the agreement dated 8 August 1988, a copy of which is published with this notice, altering the boundaries of the districts of the Auckland District Law Society and the Hamilton District Law Society in accordance with the tenor of the agreement be ratified with such alteration to take effect from 1 February 1989.

An agreement made the 8th day of August 1988 between The Auckland District Law Society, a body corporate under the Law Practitioners Act 1982 (called “the Auckland Society”) of the first part and The Hamilton District Law Society, a body corporate under the Law Practitioners Act 1982 (called “the Hamilton Society”) of the second part.
