Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in Block IV, Lothian Hundred, Southland County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Southland County Council;

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped;

(c) Pursuant to section 119 (1), declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken;

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 119 (2) declares:

(i) The area of road firstly described in the Second Schedule shall when so stopped be amalgamated in certificate of title, Volume 143, folio 127, subject to mortgages 265858, 106791.2, 229895, and 081952.3.

(ii) The area of road secondly described in the Second Schedule together with the area of land described in the Third Schedule shall when so stopped and taken, be amalgamated in certificate of title A1/1032, subject to mortgage 169920.

All those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Lothian Hundred, described as follows:

As shown as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 10972, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill.

Second Schedule

Road to be Stopped

All those pieces of road situated in Block IV, Lothian Hundred, described as follows:

As shown as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 10972, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill.

Third Schedule

Southland Land District

Land Taken

All that piece of land containing 112 square metres, situated in Block IV, Lothian Hundred, being part Lot 1, D.P. 2003; as shown marked ‘E’ on S.O. Plan 10972, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill.

Land Acquired for Road (State Highway No. 12) in Hokianga County

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 11 (1a) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 12, and shall vest in the Crown on the 17th day of November 1988.
