Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and shall vest in The Southland County Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in Wendon Survey District, Southland County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Southland County Council;

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped;

(c) Pursuant to section 119 (1), declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken;

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 119 (2) declares:

(i) The area of road firstly described in the Second Schedule shall when so stopped be amalgamated in certificate of title, No. B1/773, subject to mortgage 029999.2, Southland Registry.

(ii) The area of road secondly described in the Second Schedule together with the area of land described in the Third Schedule shall when so stopped and taken be amalgamated in certificate of title 178/169, subject to memoranda of mortgages 135046.2 and 045881 2, Southland Registry.
