Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired in Connection with Stream Diversion in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired in connection with stream diversion and shall vest in The Otorohanga District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Road Realignment in Rangitikei County and Previous Notice Amended

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands hereby amends the notice dated the 2nd day of August 1988, and published in the Gazette of 4 August 1988, No. 137, at page 3116, by:

(a) deleting from the First Schedule thereto the area firstly described and adding it to the Second Schedule;

(b) adding to the Fourth Schedule the following:

“3 m² (0.10p) part Section 15, Paraekaretu District, coloured orange, edged orange, on plan.”
