Amending a Notice Declaring Land and Easement Acquired for Harbour Works, Marlborough County

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Wellington hereby amends the notice dated the 30th day of August 1988, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 September 1988, No. 157 at page 3686, declaring land and easement acquired for harbour works, Marlborough County by omitting from the tenth line of the notice the words “The Marlborough Catchment Board” and substituting “The Marlborough Harbour Board” and by omitting from the First Schedule “B on S.O. Plan 6600” and substituting “A on S.O. Plan 6600”.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a Marae, Papakainga and recreational area for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Tahinga and Ngati Karewa tribes.
