Transfers to Reserve
Special Duties Division
Wing Commander Paul Edward Outtrim, B.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 28 June 1990, with effect from 29 June 1988.
Temporary Squadron Leader Barry Gerald Edgington is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 27 June 1990, with effect from 28 June 1988.

Squadron Leader Gordon Thompson, M.B.E., Active Reserve, is appointed to the Special Service List of the Air Force Reserve in the rank of Squadron Leader, with effect from 7 June 1988; terminating on 6 June 1991.

Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967
Declaration of Infected Area
Pursuant to regulation 4 of the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967, I, Timothy Robert Cutler, Acting Secretary of Forestry, Wellington, with the approval of the Minister of Forestry, hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be an infected area in respect of the insect described as a species of Eucalyptus Gall Insect.
Schedule
All that area in Wellington, the Hutt Valley, Horowhenua and south west Manawatu, bounded to the south and west by the coast, and to the north by the Rangitikei River from the coast to where it intersects State Highway No. 3 and to a point where State Highway No. 3 crosses the Manawatu River. The eastern boundary is a line from this point southwards to Turakirae Head on the south coast.

This declaration shall come into effect upon first publication in a newspaper circulated in the infected area.

It is an offence to remove any live plant material (including nursery tree stocks, leaf material, branches, logs, or firewood), from the infected area, if such are of any Eucalyptus botryoides or E.saligna, E.grandis, E.deanei and E.robusta until further notice. Nurseries may be permitted to move tree stocks from the infected area on application to the Regional Manager, Ministry of Forestry, Palmerston North.

The infected area may be generally and roughly described as Wellington, the Hutt Valley, Horowhenua and south west Manawatu.

THE RIGHT HON. DAVID LANGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
Order
- (1) This order may be cited as the Rural Fire Districts Revision Order 1988.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
- (1) The order constituting the Esk Rural Fire District made on the 11th day of November 1963 (a) (hereinafter in this clause, together with all amendments thereto, referred to as the principal order) is hereby amended by revoking clause 7 of the principal order, and substituting the following clause:
"7. The period between the 1st day of October in any one year and the 30th day of September in the following year (both days inclusive) is hereby declared to be a restricted fire season in the district."
(2) The principal order is hereby amended by revoking clause 10 of the principal order and substituting the following clause:
