Pursuant to section 42 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land containing 804 square metres, situated in the City of Auckland, being Lot 6, D.P. 40140. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1177, folio 56.

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District

1. The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland shall not be called upon to contribute towards the cost of erection or maintenance of any fence between the land described in the First Schedule hereto and any adjoining land, the property of or occupied by the said Mayor, Councillors, the Citizens of the City of Auckland, but this proviso shall not enure to the benefit of any subsequent purchaser of such adjoining land.

2. Her Majesty the Queen shall not erect any building within 16 ft. of the common boundary between Lot 5, D.P. 40140, and Lot 6, D.P. 40140.

Amending a Notice Declaring Government Office Accommodation Set Apart for the Purposes of a Periodic Detention Centre in the County of Taupo—Turangi Township

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor hereby amends the notice dated 18 July 1988, and published in the Gazette of 4 August 1988, No. 137, at page 3112, declaring government office accommodation set apart for a periodic detention centre in the County of Taupo—Turangi Township, by omitting “part Section 1” from the Schedule, and substituting “Section 1”.
