Clean Air Zones (Canterbury Region) Order 1984

Approval of Fuel Burning Equipment and Class of Fuel for Use in Clean Air Zones

Pursuant to clause 5G of the Clean Air Zone (Christchurch) Order 1977, and clause 5 of the Clean Air Zones (Canterbury Region) Order 1984, I, David Francis Caygill, Minister of Health hereby approve from the 1st day of September 1988 until the close of the 31st day of May 1993, for use in the districts of the following local authorities, namely—

Christchurch City.
Eyre County.
Heathcote County.
Kaiapoi Borough.
Paparua County.
Rangiora District.
Riccarton Borough.
Waimairi District.

the fuel burning equipment and the class of fuel for that equipment specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Model: “Raita” (with or without any factory built-in method of water heating.)
Manufacturer: W. H. Harris Ltd., Christchurch
Clean Air Council Certification No. 8804 | Wood having a moisture content not exceeding 25 percent (on wet weight).

Declaration of State of Local Civil Defence Emergency

Pursuant to section 52 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Colin Alfred Osten, hereby declare a state of local civil defence emergency to be in force in the Manawatu/Foxton Combined Civil Defence District.

The state of local civil defence emergency shall come into force at 11.14 p.m. on 2 September 1988.

Declaration Terminating State of Local Civil Defence Emergency

Pursuant to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Colin Alfred Osten, hereby terminate the state of local civil defence emergency declared in respect of the Manawatu/Foxton Combined Civil Defence District on 2 September 1983.

The termination of the local civil defence emergency shall take effect from the time and date of this declaration.

Declaration of State of Local Civil Defence Emergency

Pursuant to section 52 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, T. R. Shadbolt, hereby declare a state of local civil defence emergency to be in force in the West Auckland Civil Defence Area (the combined districts of Waitemata City, Henderson Borough, New Lynn Borough, Glen Eden Borough).

The state of local civil defence emergency shall come into force on the time and date of the making of this declaration.

Designation: Mayor, Waitemata City Council.

Time and Date of Declaration: 6.31 p.m., 17 July 1988.

Declaration Terminating State of Local Civil Defence Emergency

Pursuant to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Harold Vincent O'Rourke, hereby terminate the state of local civil defence emergency declared in respect of the West Auckland Civil Defence area on 17 July 1988.

The termination of the local civil defence emergency shall take effect from the time and date of the making of this declaration.
