Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification and Naming of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager, Department of Conservation hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a scenic reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Smiths Bush Reserve.

6.6749 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 31225, Lots 74 and part 75, D.P. 45481 and part Allotment 375, Takapuna Parish, situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District; shown marked “C” on S.O. Plan 60661, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Declaration that Part of a Reserve be Part of the Onewa Domain Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager, Department of Conservation hereby declares part of the recreation reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to form part of the Onewa Domain Recreation Reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager, Department of Conservation hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Mount Eden Borough Council on the 15th day of March 1988:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said borough in fee-simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, reserves for recreation within the meaning of the said Act.”

Change of the Name of the Hongi’s Track Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby declares that the scenic reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Hongi’s Track Scenic Reserve, shall hereafter be known as the Hinehopu Scenic Reserve.
