New Zealand Fishing Industry Board Act 1963
Fish Levy Regulations 1976
Fixing a Levy on Fish
Pursuant to the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board Act 1963 and The Fish Levy Regulations 1976, a notice is hereby given by the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board that:
(a) From and after the 1st day of August 1988 every wholesaler shall pay to the Board a fish levy on all fish except rock lobster taken or purchased by him (otherwise than from another wholesaler) at a rate of 1.1 percent of the primary price of those fish, and
(b) From and after the 1st day of August 1988 every wholesaler shall pay to the Board a fish levy on rock lobster taken or purchased by him (otherwise than from another wholesaler) at a rate of 1.0 percent of the primary price of those rock lobster, and
(c) From and after the 1st day of August 1988 the fisherman’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.367 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.334 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster, and
(d) From and after the 1st day of August 1988 the wholesaler’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.367 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.334 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster, and
(e) From and after the 1st day of August 1987 the retailer’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.366 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.332 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster.
(f) Notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 October 1987, No. 174, page 4638, is consequently revoked.

The Standards Act 1988—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 10 of the Standards Act 1988, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:
DZ 8720/A Draft Amendment A to BS 6807:1986 The ignitability of mattresses with primary and secondary sources of ignition. 1 page. Gratis.
This draft amendment places on record the declaration of BS 6807:1986 as a New Zealand Standard. The test requirements are also amended to align with those of NZS 8709 instead of with BS 5852.
All persons who may have an interest in this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 30 September 1988.
