Sale of Liquor Act 1962

Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Waikato Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 20 June 1988 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Tokoroa R.S.A. Club, Tokoroa.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the year the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) That on the Thursday preceding Easter the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) That on any Christmas Eve the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) That on any New Year’s Eve the chartered club shall close at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 20 June 1988 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Putaruru District Services Memorial Club (Inc.), 35 Bucklands Street, Putaruru.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the year the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) That on the Thursday preceding Easter the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) That on any Christmas Eve the chartered club shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) That on any New Year’s Eve the chartered club shall close at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

(Inc.), Morrinsville.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) That the closing hour of the club’s premises on Friday and Saturday nights be varied from 10 o’clock in the evening to 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) That the closing hour of the club’s premises on Christmas Eve be varied from 10 o’clock in the evening to 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) That the closing hour of the club’s premises on New Year’s Eve be varied from 10 o’clock in the evening of New Year’s Eve to 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 20 June 1988 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Morrinsville Hotel, Morrinsville.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On Fridays and Saturdays of each week the closing of the premises not later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On Christmas Eve the closing of the premises not later than 11.30 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve the closing of the premises not later than 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Appointment of Chairman of Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 32 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Douglas John Tucker, District Court Judge of Napier, to be a member and chairman of the Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee on and from the date hereof.

Appointment of Chairman of Licensing Committees at Nelson and Marlborough

Pursuant to section 32 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Peter John McAloon, District Court Judge of Christchurch, to be a member and chairman of the Nelson Licensing Committee and the Marlborough Licensing Committee on and from the date hereof.
