Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 28th day of July 1988, presented to the said Court by Mutual Rental Cars (NZ) Limited of Auckland, motor vehicle hirers; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 7th day of September 1988 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

Pursuant to Section 346 (1) of the Companies Act 1955
The Bank of New Zealand with reference to Milford Welding (1981) Ltd, hereby gives notice that on the 5th day of August 1988 the bank appointed Laurence George Chilcott and Peter Charles Chatfield, both chartered accountants, whose offices are at the offices of Smith Chilcott & Co., Chartered Accountants, General Building, corner Shortland and O’Connell Streets, Auckland, jointly and severally as receivers of the property of this company under the powers contained in an instrument dated the 28th day of February 1985. The receivers have been appointed in respect of all the company’s undertaking and all its real and personal property and all its assets and effects, whatsoever and wheresoever, both present and future, including its uncalled and unpaid capital.

Westpac Finance Ltd., Westpac Securities Ltd. and Westpac Merchant Finance Ltd., all at Auckland being collectively the debenture holder under a mortgage debenture dated the 23rd day of December 1987 granted by Gnome Associates Ltd. at Wellington, hereby gives notice that it has, as and from the 2nd day of August 1988, appointed Alan Raymond Isaac and John Stewart Drage, both of Wellington, chartered accountants, jointly and severally the receivers and managers of the undertaking and all of the assets of Gnome Associates Ltd.
