Notice of Intention to Hold an Inquiry into Operation of a Transport Licence

Garry Raymond Todd and Luana Brierty, Goods Service Licensees of 38 Greenslade Crescent, Northcote, Auckland.

Take notice that pursuant to section 140 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority (J. M. Foster), will hold an inquiry to ascertain whether the said licensee in making application for Goods Service Licence No. 01463 issued on the 13th day of August 1987, did knowingly supply false information in the application and or, whether owing to changed circumstances the licensee no longer meets the criteria set out in section 123 of the Act.

The inquiry will be held in the Conference Room, Ministry of Transport, Ninth Floor, Customhouse Building, Quay Street, Auckland on Tuesday, 6 September 1988 commencing at 11 a.m.

The Traffic (Queenstown - Lakes District) Notice No. 1, 1988

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Queenstown - Lakes District) Notice No. 1, 1988.

The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1986, signed the 2nd day of May 1986*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Queenstown Lakes District at Wanaka:

All the area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern side of the Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road 800 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Sargood Drive; thence easterly, generally, along the said road to a point 50 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Sargood Drive; thence across Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road by a right angle from its northern side to its southern side; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Stone Street, opposite the western end of Kennedy Crescent; thence southerly and easterly, generally, along the western and southern sides of Stone Street to its intersection with the western side of No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka); thence northerly, generally, along the said side of the said State highway to a point 20 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Golf Course Road; thence across the said State highway at a right angle from its western side to its eastern side; thence northerly, generally, to a point on the southern side of Golf Course Road; thence across Golf Course Road by a right line from its southern side to its northern side; thence along the northern side of Golf Course Road to a point on the south-eastern side of Ballantynes Road; thence across Ballantynes Road at a right angle from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point 50 metres measured easterly from the intersection of Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road and Sargood Drive; thence westerly to the point of commencement.

easterly, generally, along the southern side of No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka) from Andersons Road; thence across the said State highway at a right angle from its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly, generally, along the northern side of the said State highway to a point 650 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Andersons Road; thence northerly, generally, to a point 600 metres measured easterly, generally, along the southern side of Aubrey Road from Andersons Road; thence westerly, generally, along the said road to the eastern side of Andersons Road; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of Andersons Road to a point 650 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from the No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka); thence across Andersons Road by a right angle from its eastern side to its western side; thence northerly, generally, along the western side of Andersons Road to the southern side of Aubrey Road; thence westerly, generally, to a point 200 metres measured easterly, generally, along Aubrey Road from Rata Street; thence across Aubrey Road by a right angle from its southern side to its northern side; thence westerly, generally, along the said road to the eastern side of Rata Street; thence northerly, generally, along the eastern side of Rata Street to its northern end; thence westerly, generally, by a right line to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, to the eastern side of Beacon Point Road from Hunter Crescent; thence across Beacon Point Road at a right angle from its eastern side to its western side; thence due west by a right line to the eastern shore of Lake Wanaka; thence southerly, westerly and easterly generally, along the said shoreline to a point due north of the commencing point; thence due south by a right line to the commencing point.

Pursuant to section 100 of the Transport Act 1962, Ian Philip Wellerman is authorised to act as Deputy Transport Licensing Authority for the Nos. 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and Wellington Transport Districts from 25 July 1988 to 7 August 1988 during the absence of W. O’Brien.
