This notice amends import licences granted before the Import Control Regulations 1988 came into force on 1 July 1988 (other than the types specified in the Schedule to the notice), by removing restrictions on such licences being transferred or assigned, and allowing them to be used by their bearer pursuant to regulation 13 of the Import Control Regulations 1988.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipawa District) Notice No. 1, 1988.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

Schedule

Situated within the Waipawa District at Tikokino:

Murchison Street: From a point 40 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said street from Mantell Street to a point 50 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said street from Phillips Street.

Owen Street: From a point 30 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said street from No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to a point 40 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said street from Lyall Street.
