Import Control Regulations 1988

Import Control (Amendment of Licences) Notice 1988

Pursuant to regulation 12 (1) (b) of the Import Control Regulations 1988, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control (Amendment of Licences) Notice 1988.

   (2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

2. Application of this notice—(1) Subject to subclause (2) of this clause this notice applies to all licences granted under the Import Control Regulations 1973 that—

   (a) Had not expired; and

   (b) Had not been used to import goods to the value, number or quantity, as the case may be, specified in the licence—before the coming into force of the Import Control Regulations 1988.

   (2) This notice does not apply to licences which are expressed to be of the types specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. Amendment to import licences—(1) All licences to which this notice applies are hereby amended by revoking every term
