Revocation of the Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve and Appointment of the Waipa County Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the appointment of the Paterangi Hall Society Inc. to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, appoints the Waipa County Council to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public hall reserve.

5179 square metres, more or less, being Allotment 441, Ngataroto Parish, situated in NZMS 261, T15 Sheet 4.2. All New Zealand Gazettes, 1963, page 343 and 1963, page 334.

Classification of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserves, described in the Schedules hereto, as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Hamilton City

3.6112 hectares, more or less, being Lots 100 and 103, D.P. S. 10747, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1968, page 918. Recreation.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Hamilton City

8092 square metres, more or less, being Allotments 213 and 214, Town of Hamilton West, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1886, page 596. S.O. Plan 378. Local purpose (cemetery).

Third Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Hamilton City

1.6184 hectares, more or less, being Allotments 215, 216, 217 and 218, Town of Hamilton West, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1886, page 596. S.O. Plan 378. Recreation.

Lands

Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block IV, Rotorua Survey District, Rotorua District

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Director-General of Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Rotorua District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 6 of 1 February 1973, page 170 is hereby cancelled.

All that piece of land situated in Block XII, Bay of Islands Survey District and described as follows:

6.0702 ha Te Rawhiti 2C Block, and being all of the land contained in the partition order of the Maori Land Court dated 13 May 1913.
