Law Practitioners Act 1982

Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal on the 22nd day of February 1988, ordered that the name of Richard Walpole Hughes of Whangarei, barrister and solicitor, be struck off the Roll of Barristers and the Roll of the Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand, and further ordered that the said Richard Walpole Hughes pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of eight hundred and fifty-three dollars ($853.00) in respect of the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the tribunal and pay the sum of two thousand, three hundred and ninety dollars ($2,390.00) to the Auckland District Law Society towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by its district council.

Law Practitioners Act 1982

towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by its district council.

In the matter of section 346 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, and Tanner Couch Ltd., and in the matter of a debenture issued by Village Stationery Ltd. (in receivership):

Take notice that in exercise of the powers contained in a debenture, dated the 5th day of March 1979, issued by Village Stationery Ltd. to Tanner Couch Ltd., the said Tanner Couch Ltd. has appointed Ian McGregor Robertson and John Francis Managh, both chartered accountants, jointly and severally as receivers and managers to enter upon and take possession of all the undertaking, goodwill and assets, and all the real and personal property of the company, whatsoever and wheresoever situated, both present and future, including the uncalled and called but unpaid capital of the company and all its stock-in-trade, plant, machinery, implements, fixtures, fittings, shares, books, debts and furniture charged by the said debenture and to exercise all or any of the powers in that behalf conferred on a receiver and manager by the said debenture or by law. The receivers and managers have their office at the offices of Messrs Deloitte Haskins & Sells, corner Queen and Warren Streets, Hastings.
