Declaring Railway Land at Temuka to be Road

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares as road and vests in The Temuka Borough Council the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Railway Land at Waitoa Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Southland Boys’ High School Board of Governors Notice 1987

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Southland Boys’ High School Board of Governors Notice 1987.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1987.

2. The Southland High Schools Board of Governors is hereby dissolved.

3. A new Board of Governors is hereby established for Southland Boys’ High School which shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Southland Education Board.

(b) One member elected by the teachers of Southland Boys’ High School; but the member so elected may not be appointed as either chairman or deputy chairman of the board.

(c) Six members selected by parents/guardians of pupils attending Southland Boys’ High School.

(d) One member appointed by the Southland High School Old Boys’ Association.

(e) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, and when it thinks fit.

4. The Southland High Schools Board shall cease to control Southland Boys’ High School from the effective date of this notice on which day the sole control of that school shall be vested exclusively in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 3 of this notice.

5. The Southland High Schools Board of Governors Notice 1986* is hereby revoked.

Kingswell High School Board of Governors Notice 1987

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Kingswell High School Board of Governors Notice 1987.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1987.

2. The Kingswell High Schools Board of Governors is hereby dissolved.

3. A new Board of Governors is hereby established for Kingswell High School which shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Southland Education Board.

(b) One member elected by the teachers of Kingswell High School; but the member so elected may not be appointed as either chairman or deputy chairman of the board.

(c) Seven members selected by the parents/guardians of pupils attending Kingswell High School.

(d) One member appointed by the Southland Community College Council.

(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

4. The Southland High Schools Board shall cease to control Kingswell High School from the effective date of this notice on which day the sole control of that school shall be vested exclusively in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 3 of this notice.
