PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

The Public Finance Act 1977—Notice of Guarantee

PURSUANT to subsection (1A) of section 86 of the Public Finance Act 1977, I, Roger Owen Douglas, Minister of Finance, give the following notice:

Acting on behalf of the Crown, I gave a guarantee on 19 May 1987 of borrowings by the New Zealand Meat Trading Company Ltd, up to a maximum of US$55 million, such borrowings to be either by way of a loan from the Bank of New Zealand or by way of notes issued by the New Zealand Meat Trading Company Ltd, and guaranteed by the Bank of New Zealand. The term of the guarantee is up to and including 30 September 1988.

Mount Albert Grammar School Board of Governors Notice 1987

PURSUANT to sections 51 and 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Mount Albert Grammar School Board of Governors Notice 1987.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1987.

2. The board of governors of Mount Albert Grammar School shall be known as the “Board of Governors of Mount Albert Grammar School for Boys” and shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
   (b) One member elected by the teachers of Mount Albert Grammar School; but the member so elected may not be appointed as chairman or deputy chairman of the board;
   (c) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attending Mount Albert Grammar School;
   (d) One member appointed by the Mount Albert Grammar School Old Boys Association;
   (e) One member appointed by the council of the University of Auckland;
   (f) Two members appointed by the board of governors itself.
