Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for Coal Mining Operations in Block IX, Awakino North Survey District, and Block IX, Awakino East Survey District, Waitomo District

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 21st day of January 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23 January 1986, No. 7, page 217, declaring land to be acquired for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979, by amending the operative clause thereto to read as follows:

"PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired subject to pipeline easement certificates S. 412473, H. 258799.1, H. 258799.2, H. 258800.4 and land improvement agreement H. 318707, South Auckland Land Registry, for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and shall vest in the Crown on the 23rd day of January 1986."

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 3rd day of April 1987, and published in the Gazette of 15 April 1987, No. 55, at page 1698, acquiring land for Maori housing purposes in the City of Wanganui by omitting the following: "together with the right of way created by deed 88206".

Declaring Railway Land Near Maewa to be Road Vested in the Oroua County Council
