AMP PERPETUAL TRUSTEE COMPANY BILL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR LEAVE TO INTRODUCE A BILL

TAKE notice that The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) intends to promote a private Bill that has the following objects:

1. To provide for a change of name by the company from The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) to AMP Perpetual Trustee Company N.Z. Limited.

2. To authorise the company to transact business with the Australian Mutual Provident Society and other subsidiaries of that society in connection with any estate or trust property which it may administer from time to time.

3. To consolidate the provisions of the Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company Act 1884, and its amendments.

The promoter of the Bill is The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) whose address to which communications or notices concerning the Bill may be sent is The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), Private Bag, Dunedin.

A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected in accordance with Standing Order 263 of the House of Representatives at the District Court, Dunedin.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE CLEAN AIR ZONE (CHRISTCHURCH) ORDER 1977

Notice is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council has made application to the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 12 of the Clean Air Act 1972, to amend the Clean Air Zone (Christchurch) Order 1977. The general effect of the amendments are:

(i) To extend the effect of the order by authorising only the installation of fuel burning equipment and fuels specified for that fuel burning equipment, as described in the Schedule to the order, in a clean air zone.

(ii) To identify and clarify the new manufacturer of existing fuel burning equipment in the Schedule to the order.

(iii) To add to the Schedule of the order additional fuel burning equipment approved for installation and use in the clean air zone.

A copy of the applications may be inspected at the City Health Department, Fourth Floor, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, during a period of 6 weeks from 13 June 1987.

Within the said period any person who will be affected by the amendment may, by notice in writing to the Minister of Health, and supplying a copy of the notice to the local authority, object to the recommendation.

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 28th day of May 1987 at Auckland, Napier, and Wellington was 433.55 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the ruling trigger price of 500 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) no retention levy is payable in terms of section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, until further notice.
