Pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the District Court at Christchurch on Monday, the 6th day of April 1987, against Michael Joseph Kopa Sheehan for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

Advertising the Taking of a Census, Section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975

Pursuant to section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975, notice is given that a Census of Local Authorities (1986-87), which has been approved by the Minister of Statistics, is being undertaken by the Department of Statistics.

The census will cover all classes of undertakings listed below:

Museum Authorities
Pest Destruction Boards
Valley Authority

Regional Councils
United Councils
District Councils
Regional Authority

Plantation and Forestry Boards

It is the duty of the person in charge of each undertaking of any of the above classes who has not received a questionnaire within 21 days after the date of this advertisement to inform the Government Statistician that such an undertaking exists.

Kuzmicich, the Government Statistician, do hereby certify that pursuant to section 14 (b) of the Statistics Act 1975, the Minister of Statistics has approved the collection of local authority statistics, being one of the matters set out in section 4 of the Statistics Act 1975, by giving written approval on 1 March 1980 for the continuation of the annual Local Authority Survey (LA/TL/01), being a statistical survey in force at the commencement of the Statistics Act 1975 (Section 6 (3)).

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 12 March 1987 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the DB Ponsonby Club Hotel, Three Lamps, Ponsonby, Auckland.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and on Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(d) On Thursday preceding Easter—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
