The Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, Notice of Authorisation
NOTICE is hereby given that the Minister of Health, acting under section 19 (1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, has authorised the district advisory pharmacist named in the Schedule hereto to enter the premises of any person who carries on the business of producer, manufacturer, seller or distributor of any controlled drug, or who otherwise undertakes the supply or administration of any controlled drug and to demand the production of, and to inspect any books or documents relating to dealings in any controlled drug, and to inspect, weigh, measure and record the stocks of controlled drugs.

Increased Pressure Gas Installation System
PURSUANT to section 61 of the Gas Act 1982 and to regulation 37 of the Gas Industry Regulations 1984, approval is hereby given for the construction, maintenance and operation of gas installations in accordance with the Interim Specification titled “Increased Pressure Installation System” Revision I issued by me on 15 May 1987, or subsequent revisions, provided the work is carried out under a valid gasfitting permit issued by a franchise holder listed in Schedule I.
The approval published in the New Zealand Gazette on 20 November 1986, No. 185, page 4955 is hereby revoked.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 4218 Thermal insulation requirements for residential buildings and methods of determining total thermal resistances for parts of buildings. $8.58 (incl. GST).
This draft lays down minimal thermal insulation requirements for residential buildings and is approved as a means of compliance with the relevant requirements of NZS 1900:Chapter 4.
The draft revises NZS 4218P:1977. It will replace NZS 4214:1977 Methods of determining the total thermal resistances of parts of buildings and NZS 4218P:1977 Minimum thermal insulation requirements for residential buildings. Thermal insulation correctly installed enables heating energy to be used more efficiently by reducing heat loss.
