PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori
freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart
as a Maori reservation for the purpose of the urupa or burial ground
for the common use and benefit of the Ngatihou iwi.

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice
Rotorua 1987, No. 1. -
The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto. -
The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

I, Richard William Prebble, Minister of Transport, having obtained
the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section
143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to
sections 143A (1) (a) and 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Act the sale of land
referred to in the Schedule to this notice by the Southland Harbour
Board, and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of
this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 1432 square metres, more or
less, situated in Campbelltown Hundred, and being all the land
contained in the certificate of title, Volume 6D, folio 533 (Southland
Registry).

Notice Declaring Old Man’s Beard (Clematis vitalba) A Class B
Noxious Plant (No. 3956; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious
Plants Council hereby declares old man’s beard (Clematis vitalba)
to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying
within that part of the boundaries of Waikohu District Noxious
Plants Authority described as follows:
West of a line running from Rakauroa along Rakauroa - Tahora
Road to the Rakauroa Scenic Reserve and from that point following
the Wharekopae Stream to the Waikohu County boundary at Rere
and north of a line running from Rakauroa along the Waikohu River
to the interception of Mangatawa Stream.
From that point the line follows the boundary of Mangatawa
and Te Koawa Station to the boundary of Poututu Station, then
along the boundary of Mangatawa and Poututu Station to the
Urukokomoko Stream and along this Stream to the Mangatu River;
from there up the Mangatu River to the Wairee Bridge and along
Wairee Road to the Mangatu Road, up the Mangatu Road and
down Makara Road to the boundary of Makara (Waipaoa Station)
and Te Kowhai Station following this boundary to Waitangi Station;
then along the boundary of Waitangi and Makara Station to the
Waitangi Stream, following this Stream to the Waingaromia River
and from there up this River to the county boundary.
This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of
notification of the Gazette.
