Hawea Flat Irrigation Scheme Altering Irrigation Water Charges and Terms of Supply

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 11, 16 and 18 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby alters the Hawea Flat Irrigation Scheme irrigation water charges and terms of supply as follows for the 1986–1987 season.
- Gravity Race:
(a) The total water quota shall be increased from 500 mm to 700 mm.
(b) The charges for the 1986–1987 irrigation scheme shall be:
(i) $29.75 per irrigable hectare for a half quota of 350 mm.
(ii) $8.50 per 1000 m³ for water used in excess of the half quota up to a maximum of 700 mm.
(iii) $4.25 per 1000 m³ for water in excess of the quota of 700 mm.
- East Side Pump Race:
(a) The total water quota shall be increased from 430 mm to 630 mm.
(b) The charges for the 1986–1987 irrigation scheme shall be:
(i) $41.70 per hectare for a half quota of 315 mm.
(ii) $13.20 per 1000 m³ for water used in excess of the half quota and up to a maximum of 630 mm.
(iii) $6.60 per 1000 m³ for water used in excess of the quota of 630 mm.

Redefining the Limits of the Harbour of Tauranga

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby redefines the limits of the Harbour of Tauranga as shown on plan M.D. 16463 (2 sheets) deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport and as more particularly described in the Schedules below.
The Order in Council of 27 November 1978* defining the Harbour of Tauranga is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF OUTWARD LIMITS
Katikati Harbour
By a right line commencing at Trig. 69, Block XIII, Katikati Survey District, and extending at a bearing of 341° for a distance of 2 nautical miles; thence by an arc of 2 nautical miles centered on Trig. 69 extending in a clockwise direction to the mean high water mark at Matakana Island.
