Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations,

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency
the Governor-General has approved the following appointments,
promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements
of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

GRADUATES—ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE, DUNTROON

The following Officer Cadets graduated from the Royal Military
College, Duntroon, and are appointed to commissions in the rank

Retired List with effect from 12 January 1987.

Colonel M. J. Ross, O.B.E., to be acting Brigadier with effect from
19 January 1987, Brigadier with seniority and effect from 23 January
1987 and is transferred to the Brigadiers’ List.

Colonel Thomas Arthur Aldridge is transferred to the Army
Reserve, General List of Officers, in his present rank with effect
from 6 February 1987.
