All that area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the mean high water mark of the sea coast with the mean high water mark of the northern head of Manukau Harbour and proceeding generally southerly along the mean high water mark of the sea coast, crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets to the middle of the old bed of the Waikato River, as shown on ML 1491; thence generally easterly up the middle of that old river bed (ML 1491) to the eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence north-easterly along a right line to the north-western corner of Lot 1, DP 28171; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of the said Lot 1, Lots 18, 17, 16 and 14, DP 43617 and Lot 13, DP 34871 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Elizabeth Street; thence generally north-easterly along the last-mentioned ridge to Trig Station I Mount Dundas; thence generally north-easterly along right lines to Trig Station AA Arawaru, Trig Station F Marima and the north-western corner of Section 9, Block IX, Mangahao Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Inglis Road, Section 4, Block V, Mangahao Survey District and Sections 3, 2 and 1, Block VI, Mangahao Survey District to the southern corner of Section 13, Block XIX, Mangahao Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to the westernmost corner of the said Section 13; thence generally northerly along the eastern side of South Range Road to Pahiatua-Aokautere Road (Pahiatua Track); thence northerly by a right line to and along the eastern side of North Range Road and generally northerly to the south-western corner of Part Section 1, Block I, Mangahao Survey District (CT 247/81); SOUTHERN MAORI

All those areas comprising the South Island of New Zealand, Stewart Island and that portion of the North Island bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high water mark of the sea coast being the north-eastern corner of Part Takapau 5231A Block in Block XIII, Patutu Survey District and proceeding generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of the Eastern Maori Electoral District hereinafter described to the southernmost corner of the said electorate; thence generally southerly along the summit of the Ruahine Ranges to Trig Station 60A, Wharite in Block VII, Gorge Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block VII, Gorge Survey District to the northernmost corner of the said Section 6; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Part Section 52, Block XIV, Pohangina Survey District to the southernmost corner of the said Part Section 52; thence northerly, westerly and southerly along the eastern, northern and western boundaries of Section 2, Block II, Gorge Survey District and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Whariti Road; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Part Lot 2, DP 239; thence southerly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 8, DP 619, 850 metres from the northern corner of the said Lot 8; thence north-westerly to the north-eastern boundary of Ngarawa West C 18, 2; thence generally south-westerly along West C 18, 2 to its intersection with the middle of the Ngatiama River; thence generally north-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of Kents Road; thence southerly to and along the middle of that road to the middle of Ngatiama Road, Reikorangi Road and Elizabeth Street to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 13, DP 34871; thence generally westerly to and along that boundary and the northern boundaries of the said Lot 13, Lots 14, 16, 17 and 18, DP 43617 and Lot 1, DP 28171 to the eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence south-westerly by a right line to the old bed of the Waikato River (ML 1491); thence generally westerly along that old river bed to the mean high water mark of the sea coast; thence generally northerly along that mean high water mark to the point of commencement.
