NORTHERN MAORI

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the line of mean high water of the Tasman Sea at the North Head of the Manukau Harbour, Block VI, Waitakere Survey District and proceeding north-westerly, easterly and south-easterly generally along the line of mean high water of the Tasman Sea and the South Pacific Ocean, crossing the mouths of the Kaipara Harbour, the Waipoua River, the Wairau River, the Waipamamao River, the Hokianga Harbour, the Whangape Harbour, the Heketiki Harbour, the Parengarenga Harbour, the Houhora Harbour, the Rangaunu Harbour, the Taipa River, the Mangonui Harbour, the Whangaroa Harbour, the Tauranga Stream, the Takou River, the Taumatariki River, and Tapuwatiki Creek to a point due west of the westernmost extremity of Harakake Island, Block IX, Bay of Islands Survey District; thence due east along a right line to that westernmost extremity of Harakake Island, and continuing easterly along the generally northern shores of that island to the easternmost extremity of that island, and along a right line to the northernmost extremity of Piercy Island (Motukokako); thence southerly generally along the eastern shores of that island and along a right line, to the easternmost extremity of Section 2, Block XIIIA, Bay of Islands Survey District, and continuing south-easterly generally along the line of mean high water of the South Pacific Ocean, crossing the mouths of the Whangaruru Harbour, and the Whangarei Harbour and all other inlets, and including lots 1 and 2, DP 62492, an area coloured pink, as shown on SO Plan 23413, .37358 hectares, (9a-0r-37p), and an area coloured pink, as shown on SO Plan 24253, .35423 hectares (8a-3r-0.59p), Block VII, Ruakaka Survey District, and continuing along that line of mean high water of the South Pacific Ocean, crossing the mouths of the Waipu River, the Waiaruhe Stream, the Mangawhai Harbour, the Pakiri River, and excluding Cape Rodney, Okakari Point Marine Reserve, as shown on SO Plan 58975, .5470000 hectares, Block I, Rodney Survey District, crossing the mouths of the Koutuora Stream and the Whangateau Harbour, the Matakana River, the Mahurangi Harbour, the Te Muri o Taraki Stream and the Puhui River, excluding part Section 1, Block IV, Waipuwa Survey District, crossing the mouths of the Waiawera River, the Orewa River, Weiti River and the Okura River and continuing south-easterly along that line of mean high water, crossing the mouth of the Waiwera Creek to the northwestern corner of Lot 17, DP 7449; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that last-mentioned Lot 17, to and south-easterly along the line of mean low water of the Hauraki Gulf, to and south-easterly and south-westerly generally along the generally north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Endowment 63, as shown on DP 1009, (comprised in Certificate of Title 237/74), Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, to and south-easterly across the mouth of the Waitemata Harbour to the northernmost extremity of Section 18, (Bastion Rock, Recreation Reserve), Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, along the eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned Section 18, to and easterly along the line of mean high water of the Waitemata Harbour to a point due west of the northernmost extremity of Allomptment 410, Pakuranga Parish, (Musick Point), Block X, Rangitoto Survey District, along a right line due east to its intersection with the middle of the Tamaki River; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of the Tamaki River, to and south-westerly along the middle of the Orakei Creek, to the middle of a tributary of the Orakei Creek to a point in line with the north-easternmost boundary of Lot 159, DP 51623, (Recreation Reserve), along a right line to and along that north-eastern boundary to the westernmost corner of Lot 170, DP 51623; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of that last-mentioned Lot 170, and Lots 171 and 172, DP 51623 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned Lot 172; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 173, 174, and 176, DP 51623, to and easterly along the northern boundaries of Lots 183, 188 and 189, DP 51623, Block VII, Otahuhu Survey District, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to its intersection with the middle of Springs Road; thence southerly along the middle of Springs Road, East Tamaki Road and Preston Road, and continuing south-westerly along the middle of Preston Road, crossing the intervening Auckland-Hamilton Motorway, to and along the middle of Reagan Road and Puhinui Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 4, DP 4167; thence south-easterly along a right line, to and along that last-mentioned south-western boundary of Lot 4 and Lots 23, 24, 25, 26 and 32, DP 61877, to and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lot 1, DP 60601, and Lot 11, DP 63401, to the northernmost corner of part Clendon’s Grant, (comprised in Certificate of Title, 1521/23, cancelled); thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned part of Clendon’s Grant, and that boundary produced to its intersection with the middle of Puhinui Stream; thence south-westerly generally down the middle of the aforesaid stream, to and down the middle of part Old Bed Puinui Stream, as shown on SO Plan 57297, to and again down the middle of the aforesaid stream, crossing the intervening Plunket Avenue, to its intersection with the north-western boundary of an area marked G, as shown on SO Plan 55517, .268 square metres, to and along the north-western boundary of that area marked G, and along the north-western boundary of an area marked D, as shown on SO Plan 55517, .687 square metres to its intersection with the north-eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that railway to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 29, Block X, Otahuhu Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to its intersection with the middle of the aforesaid railway; thence north-westerly along the middle of that railway to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 148, DP 43645, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned Lot 148; thence north-westerly generally along the generally south-western boundaries of Lot 240, DP 43645 to the north-western corner of Section 37, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, along the north-eastern boundary of that Section 37, and that boundary produced to its intersection with the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence northerly along the middle of that railway, crossing the intervening Massey Road, and that middle line produced to the middle of Portage Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of Portage Road to its intersection with the eastern boundary of an area coloured green, as shown on SO Plan 23535, .1315 square metres (0a-1r-12.9p); thence northerly along the last-mentioned eastern boundary, to and along the eastern boundaries of an area of Railway Land, as shown on SO Plan 23535, .18919 hectares, (4a-2r-28p), to its northernmost corner, thence westerly along the northern boundary of the last-mentioned area of Railway Land, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 28, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District to its intersection with the western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway;
