Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage, and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board to control and manage the recreation reserve, and further revokes the reservation of the said reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of Appointment

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Chorlton-Little Akaroa War Memorial Committee to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, appoints the Little Akaroa Reserve Board to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a local purpose (war memorial) reserve.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mangaohae Stream Scenic Reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Ashburton County Council on the 18th day of July 1986:

“That pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Ashburton County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act”.

Naming of a Reserve
