West Coast Acclimatisation District

Area A: North of the Buller River.

  1. No person shall for the purpose of hunting or killing any game in the waters of Lake Mahinapua, build or use any fixed stand, ponton, hide or maimai, except within 45 metres of the lake water margin.

THIRD SCHEDULE

GAME LICENCES AND LICENCE FEES

Pursuant to Regulations 5 and 13 of the Wildlife Regulations 1955, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby approves the licence fees set and payable in respect of each class of game licence and the conditions attached hereto:

Class: New Zealand Game Licence

Fee: Thirty dollars ninety cents ($30.90) + GST 10% : $34.00
or
Fee: Twenty five dollars ($25.00) + GST 10% : $27.50

Conditions: A New Zealand Game Licence of fee $34.00 (inclusive of GST) shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of New Zealand.

A New Zealand Game Licence of fee $27.50 (inclusive of GST) shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game only in the district of issue or in those districts wherein a licence of the same class and fee is issued until 3 May 1987 inclusive, and thereafter in all acclimatisation districts of New Zealand.

The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits for each acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place, as specified under the Second Schedule of the Notice in the New Zealand Gazette in which the Minister of Internal Affairs declared the 1987 open season for game.

Class: Junior New Zealand Game Licence

Fee: Fifteen dollars forty five cents ($15.45) + GST : $17.00
or
Fee: Fourteen dollars ($14.00) + GST : $15.40

Conditions: A Junior New Zealand Game Licence of fee $17.00 (inclusive of GST) shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of New Zealand.

A Junior New Zealand Game Licence of fee $15.40 (inclusive of GST) shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game only in the district of issue or in those districts wherein a licence of the same class and fee is issued until 3 May 1987 inclusive, and thereafter in all acclimatisation districts of New Zealand.

The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits for each acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place, as specified under the Second Schedule of the notice in the New Zealand Gazette in which the Minister of Internal Affairs declared the 1987 open season for game.

Junior New Zealand Game Licences may be issued to persons under 16 years of age as at 2 May 1987. The provisions of the Arms Act 1983 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.

Class: One Week Game Licence

Fee: Fifteen dollars forty five cents ($15.45) + GST : $17.00
or
Fee: Ten dollars ($10.00) + GST : $11.00

Conditions: A One week licence may be issued and be available for use on or after the 10th day (11 May 1987) of the open season for game for a period of seven days from the date specified on the licence.

The licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in the district of issue only.

Class: One Day Game Licence

Fee: Six dollars thirty six cents ($6.36) + GST : $7.00

Conditions: A one day licence may be issued and be available for use on or after the 10th day (11 May 1987) of the open season for game for a period of one day as specified on the licence.

The licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in the district of issue only.

Class: Part Season Goose Licence

Fee: Fifteen dollars forty five cents ($15.45) + GST : $17.00

Conditions: A part season goose licence may be issued to authorise the holder to hunt or kill Canada geese on or after 24 August 1987 in any acclimatisation district wherein for the remaining period of the open season for game in that district, Canada geese may be taken.

The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions for each acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place, as specified under the Second Schedule of the notice in the New Zealand Gazette in which the Minister of Internal Affairs declared the 1987 open season for game.

The notice published in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, No. 49, 4 April 1986, page 1432, Third Schedule, Game Licences and Licence Fees is hereby revoked.
