Appointment to the Rules Committee of a Member for a Special Purpose

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 51B of the Judicature Act 1908 as enacted by section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act (No. 2) 1985, the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed

Peter Anstic Cornford, Esquire of Wellington, retired barrister

to be a member of the Rules Committee, for the special purpose of collating accumulated amendments to the High Court Rules 1985 and of assimilating to the procedure introduced by those rules the procedure hitherto followed under miscellaneous statutes other than the Judicature Act 1908.

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 3rd day of September 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 September 1986, No. 141, at page 3817, declaring land held for a post office to be Crown land in the City of Auckland, pursuant to section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, by deleting from the legal description in the Schedule the plan reference “D.P. 109518” and substituting the plan reference “L.T. Plan 109518”.

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 27th day of November 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 4 December 1986, No. 194, at page 5190, declaring land held for police purposes to be Crown land in Mangonui County, pursuant to section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, by deleting from the legal description in the Schedule the section No. “75” and substituting the No. “78”.
