Conservation Act 1987

Declaring State Forest Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Held for the Purpose of a Conservation Park to be Known as Coromandel Conservation Park

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister deemed to be responsible for the Department of State that has control of the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the said State forest land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held and pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Conservation Act 1987, the said State forest land having been part of a forest park immediately before the commencement of the Conservation Act, being the Coromandel State Forest Park, and not being shown on any plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor for the land district in which it is situated as being allocated for possible transfer to a State enterprise, shall hereafter be deemed to be held for the purpose of a conservation park pursuant to section 18 (1) of the Conservation Act and shall be known as the Coromandel Conservation Park.

Reserves Act 1977

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration that the Reserve be part of the Burns Park Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares the said reserve to form part of the Burns Park Scenic Reserve.
