Land Acquired for Road and for the Purposes of a Road in Cheviot County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(i) The land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 1, and shall vest in the Crown on the 10th day of December 1987.

(ii) The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road, and shall vest in the Crown on the 10th day of December 1987.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired for a State Primary School in the Borough of Martinborough

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 20th day of February 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 February 1987, No. 27, at page 961, declaring land acquired for a State primary school by omitting the following:

“All that piece of land containing 2.0234 hectares, situated in the Borough of Martinborough, being part of Section 3, Wharekaka Block and being also Lots 38, 39, 51, 52 and 53, D.P. 24. All certificate of title, Volume 402, folio 222, Wellington Land Registry, limited as to parcels and title”.

and substituting the following:

“All that piece of land containing 2.0234 hectares, situated in the Borough of Martinborough, being part of Section 3, Wharekaka Block and being also Lots 38, 39, 51, 52 and 53, Deeds Plan 24. All certificate of title, Volume 402, folio 222, Wellington Land Registry, limited as to parcels and title”.
