Works and Development

Public Works Act 1981

Amending a Notice Declaring Stopped Road to be Disposed of in Block VI, Waitapu Survey District, Golden Bay County

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 5th day of August 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 August 1987, No. 135, at page 3873, declaring stopped road to be disposed of in Block VI, Waitapu Survey District, Golden Bay County by omitting the following:

“Pursuant to section 117 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares the stopped road described in the First Schedule hereto to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 2B/1391, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 1778582, 921976 and 247242.2, Nelson Land Registry and declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 64, folio 220, Nelson Land Registry.”

and substituting the following:

“Pursuant to section 117 of the Public Works Act 1981 the Minister of Works and Development declares the stopped road described in the First Schedule hereto to be vested in James William Curnow of Rotorua, field officer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 1778582, 921976.2 and 247242.2, Nelson Land Registry and declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be vested in Dale Frederick Hoy of Wainuiomata, packaging consultant and Christine Anne Hoy, his wife.”

Road Realignment in the County of Waiapu

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953 shall form part of State Highway No. 35, and the land second and thirdly described in the Schedule hereto are acquired for the purposes of section 119, all of which shall vest in the Crown on the 10th day of December 1987.

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 7720, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road in Blocks XIV and XV, Opaheke Survey District, Franklin County

Pursuant to sections 20 and 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for limited access road which has become road, limited access road and State highway and which pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953 shall form part of State Highway No. 2 and shall vest in the Crown on the 10th day of December 1987.
