Amending a Notice Declaring Land to be Road,
Road Stopped and Land Taken in Blocks II and III,
Mangaorongo Survey District, Otorohanga District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981 the
Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice
dated the 15th day of October 1987 and published in the New
Zealand Gazette, 22 October 1987, No. 184, page 4833,
declaring land to be road, road stopped and land taken in
Blocks II and III, Mangaorongo Survey District, Otorohanga
District by omitting the area of 2017 square metres from the
description of the piece of road thirdly described in the Second
Schedule thereto and substituting 1970 square metres.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an
agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road
and shall vest in the Crown on the 19th day of November
1987 and pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads
Act 1953 shall form part of State Highway No. 1.
