Trust Deed

Appointment of Trustees to the Coal Mining Industries Superannuation Scheme: Clause 11 of the Trust Deed

Pursuant to clause 11 of the Trust Deed, the following persons have been appointed to the Board of Trustees:

Anthony Joseph Ellis, company secretary of Coal Corporation of New Zealand Ltd. has been appointed by the Minister of Energy as Chairman of Trustees.

Edward James Ans low, a member of the United Mineworkers Union of New Zealand has been reappointed for a further term of 2 years to represent workers in coal mines (Northern Region).

Evan Griffiths, the president of the United Mineworkers Union of New Zealand has been appointed to represent workers in coal mines (Southern Region).

Peter Roderick MacKay, executive officer of Glen Afton Collieries Ltd. has been appointed to represent the participating employers.

Pursuant to the Education Boards’ Administration Regulations 1979, it is hereby notified that the result of the ballot for the election of a member to fill the vacancy for the Christchurch Ward 3 of the Education Board of the District of Canterbury is as follows:

Brussovs, Elmars Roland 16 votes
McHarg, Rodger Lindsay (elected) 67 votes
Tan, Ah Choon 9 votes
Taylor, Trevor Ronald 15 votes

107 votes

At Wellington this 2nd day of November 1987

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Whereas, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities, and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960.

And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has petitioned His Excellency the Governor-General that certain areas of Waitemata City be included within the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District.

Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order (No. 2) 1987.
    (2) This order shall come into force on 1 November 1987.

  2. Boundary altered—The boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District is hereby altered so as to include the areas defined in the Schedules hereto.

  3. Determination of financial obligations—The financial obligations and assessments under the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Act 1960 of the Waitemata City Council with respect to the land defined in the Schedules hereto shall be determined on and from 1 November 1987.

First Schedule

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Waitemata, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the line of mean high water mark spring tide of the Manukau Harbour being the production of the north-eastern boundary of part Allotment 294, Waikomiti Parish, in Block VII, Titirangi Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly generally along the boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District as described in the Third Schedule of section 4 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 to the northernmost corner of Lot 60, D.P. 36329; thence south-westerly generally along the boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District as described in the Third Schedule of section 4 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, to the southernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 54109; thence westerly generally along the boundary of aforesaid district as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1970, page 98, to the southernmost corner of Lot 59, D.P. 36329; thence south-westerly generally along the boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1966, page 150 to the north-western corner of Lot 6, D.P. 16793, to to the north-westernmost corner of Lot 3, D.P. 54666, to and along the boundary of the inner area of the aforesaid district as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1982, page 1014, to the easternmost corner of Lot 35, D.P. 20025; thence
