Land Acquired for Road and for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road in Cheviot County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(i) The land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 11(1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 1, and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of November 1987.

(ii) The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of November 1987.

First Schedule

Canterbury Land District

Land for Road

All that piece of land containing 264 square metres, situated in Block I, Cheviot Survey District, being part Bed Leader River; as shown marked “F” on S.O. Plan 14294, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.
