Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised.

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (soil conservation and river control) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board in such manner, at such price and on such terms as the board shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the general funds of the board.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised.

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (passive recreation) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Napier City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Revocation of Part Wilderness Area

PURSUANT to section 14 of the National Parks Act 1980, the Minister of Conservation, acting on the recommendation of the National Parks and Reserves Authority hereby revokes the setting apart as a wilderness area of that part of the Glaisnock Wilderness Area (Gazette, January 1974, page 123) of the Fiordland National Park described in the Schedule hereto.

78.5 sq.km., being part Glaisnock Wilderness Area (Fiordland National Park), situated in Glaisnock Survey District, being all that land encompassed by a circle of radius 5 km, centred on the unnamed peak (height 4920 feet) at Grid Reference 650770, N.Z.M.S. 1, sheet 130 shown as A on S.O. Plan 11226.
