Transport Licensing Authority Sittings

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Auckland Transport Licensing Authority, the No. 2 Transport District Licensing Authority and Harbour Ferry Licensing Authority (J. M. Foster), gives notice of the receipt of the following application and will hold a public sitting in the District Court, Pukekohe at the time and date stated to hear evidence for or against granting it.

Thursday, 1 October 1987 at 11 a.m.

P2/717 New Zealand Railways Corporation: Amend Passenger Transport Service Licence No. 21835 by curtailing all timetable services in that part of the Franklin County South and West of Drury i.e., Route 1 Auckland-Pukekohe, Tuakau via Drury and Pacrata and vice versa.

Route 5 Auckland-Pukekohe-Tuakau via Bombay and vice versa.

Route 6 Auckland-Waiuku via Glenbrook, Karaka and kingseat and vice versa.

Route 7 Papakura-Glenbrook Steel Mill and vice versa.

Route 8 Waiuku-Glenbrook Steel Mill and vice versa.

A copy of the application is available for sighting at the office of the Secretary No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority, Ministry of Transport, Ninth Floor, Customhouse Building, Quay Street, Auckland or further information could be obtained by phoning the N.Z. Railways Corporation Area Manager, Auckland.

Notice of Intention to vary hours of sale of liquor at licensed premises—Nelson Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Nelson Licensing Committee on 7 August 1987 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Licensed Premises known as the Provincial Tavern, Nelson.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
